His only wish is to leave home, but he and his parents finally agree to see a psychologist first. The psychologist, recognising the boy's stubbornness, uses a less direct method, hypnotherapy, which involves the subconscious triggering of memories and desires. Both the psychologist and the boy are shocked by the sudden visions that interrupt the consciously driven scenes, and make Vilmos begin to see his parents in a different light.
